FOUNTAIN BROOK CROSSING - The Building

Fountain Brook CrossingAn innovative “Diamond Facet” building design is being proposed by WMH Leasing, LLC of New Berlin for Brookfield’s, Moorland Road entrance. The creative design took the efficient shape of a rectangle, improved on its versatility and functionality while adorning it with a signature look.

We are trying to create a leadership center where those that call it home have a facility that reflects the quality, innovation, and excellence of the products and services they provide. Their business model is one where everything including their facility walks their talk creating an integrated, credible, and trusting relationship with their customer, client, or patient.Targeting Leed Certification

Rooftop GardenThis next generation building concept is also environmentally friendly with a roof top garden, proposed supplemental geo-thermo heating and cooling, internal natural lighting, and hiding and consolidating over 4 acres of parking into just 7/10ths of an acre that cannot be seen from street level. This green building is targeting LEED certification.

Water management is also a high environmental priority. Not only does the roof top garden assist in that process, the whole facility was positioned and designed to avoid the water table and to minimize water run-off helping maintain the natural occurring water levels in the area plus its water quality.  

Diamond Faceted DesignEsthetically it is extremely pleasing attesting to the fact beauty and functional efficiency are not mutually exclusive. Its “diamond facet” appearance is unlike anything in the Midwest creating a true signature of distinction. The design criteria of the space had to be user desirable/friendly becoming a preferred destination for patrons while being functionally superior in facilitating improved efficiencies, employee performance, and act as human resource tool in recruiting and retaining employees, said Bill Hoeg of WMH Leasing, the owner of Fountain Brook Crossing.

The building features a unique diamond faceted cantilevered wall design which facilitates new and artistic space within the efficient shape of the rectangle. The cantilevered glass creates an optimal size executive office, medical exam room, dental operatory, work and/or health workout space that can be easily clustered for team and/or departmental function synergies without needing to be on a corner. These areas can easily help replace long straight hall ways with more interesting and esthetically pleasing access without increasing your build-out cost.

Four Story AtriumThe atrium four story waterfall, natural internal lighting, external water fountains and the integrated parking helps eliminates the edge created by life’s stresses and secures a relaxing atmosphere where professional and personal relationships can be easily developed.

Underground ParkingThis approximate 120,000 square foot four-story building has two levels of underground parking, one of which is partially exposed to give an open airy feeling and puts all patrons’ parking within a few steps of the front door. The second parking level will feature an employee only, carded secured level for their peace of mind.
